JMC Errors Parents have no access to students data

So,, for many of you out there using JMC software for student tracking purposes within your school or school district, you may at times, come across a few errors within the program which can totally screw the day (not really).
As a network administrator for a district school within the midwest I come across a few of these once in awhile and have decided to add theses "FIXES" to this site for others to view and hopefully make their day a little more enjoyable (cough cough).

YEA RIGHT....

Anyway here is my scenario, we have JMC online parent access enabled and functioning, for those of you who do not know, this is a program to allow parents to view online, the daily assignments for their children, along with lunch account standings (if avaiable from the school) as well as daily grades and attendance.

Well, every now and again I have a parent contact the school with error messages which they receive when trying to access this data from home.

I was told of one such error " you currently have no access to this information"
this was the error message when a parent was logging in and trying to access the online parent module in JMC.

RESOLUTION >> within JMC there is also a OFFICE PROGRAM which holds contact information for parents and students, if there are multiple contact records (as was our case) you will then receive the error mentioned above. Simple delete the record which is no longer in use, or combine information (we did this) and you should be good to go.

By the way, for support staff out there, we are using the District version of this software and as of this year, have "rolled" all of our school's data into one database as per JMC.

That's my story and I'm stickin to it
