Certificate Errors still happening WTF

Okay Okay,  I now the WTF was a little much,, but seriously,, WTF after going through the  previous purchase and install / config of my Go Daddy certificate I was still getting web errors and cert errors about not being able to correctly resolve the mail server name.. as I  was instructed by the powers that be,, (meaning someone a little more intelligent), certificates do not work off of IP addresses and this is what was screwing the proverbial pooch as it were… Once I changed my website around from strictly and IP address and the correct DNS FQN NAME that the cert was created for,, all was once again right with the Internet World…
